Earlier this year WEARX was chosen to design, manufacture and supply two rotable Coarse Ore Stockpile (COS) feeder tubs to the BHP Mount Whaleback site.

WEARX was chosen for this project based on a successful track record of supplying a similar design at two other mine sites in Orange, NSW and Zambia, Africa.

The tubs are designed to eliminate costly downtime maintenance during shutdowns. Instead of working under strict deadlines to replace worn wear liners, site can now change out the chute in service and replace it with a fully lined chute and replace the worn liners in a workshop environment.

‘This is a great example of WEARX’s dedication to delivering cost-saving solutions to our clients’, Business Development Manager Cameron Jolly said.

The delivery and install of the tubs was completed earlier this month. Installation was seamless and highly positive feedback from the client was received.

Congratulations to everyone involved in securing and executing this project.
